Lachlan Marks is an award-winning Australian screenwriter with a background in journalism and the music industry.

With over 10 years experience as a critic and journalist he is currently the managing editor of Australian Guitar and Blunt magazine and the exclusive photographer of his cats, Wheels and Domino. You can read his monthly film page in Blunt magazine called "Get Reel".


He is also a regular collaborator with local filmmakers and has had several of his short scripts produced, including A Real Buzz(2015), Moving On (2016) Keep Rolling (2018), Transfer (2019) and Unravelled (2019) which have gone on to screen at film festivals in Australia and overseas.

Peter is the co-founder and contributor of AusAPT and is a celebrated author, film critic and member of the priesthood. 

He has a 50-year career spanning faith and film holding senior positions connecting both including world president of SIGNIS, the World Catholic Association for Communication, 2001-2005.
